Translating and the Computer Conference, 37th Edition

Ghent (Belgium), Giorgio Vassallo The 37th edition of the “Translating and the Computer” conference will be held on November 26 and 27 of 2015 in London. The conference is expected to be an opportunity for users as well as developers of translation technologies to participate in a forum dedicated to translation and language technology.
The conference will be held over the course of two days, in which many lectures and presentations will be given simultaneously. Last year’s edition of the conference held various discussions on localisation crowdsourcing, web-based multilingual corpora, terminology management, and machine translation. Some of the specific topics discussed last year were “The Dos and Don’ts of XML document localization”, “Improving fuzzy matching through syntactic knowledge” and “Twitter Crowd Translation”, among others.
